Shree Gavyam is formed by trio of agriculturists who just love farm soil as their Mom and hence doesn’t want to use harmful herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers to it. Whatever is not natural and artificially made of chemical, though to add nutrients to the soil depletes the life within it. Yes, SOIL – Soul Of Infinite Life, there are millions and millions of micro-organisms and earthworms, seeds of many plants which we call it as weeds present in soil which keeps it alive and enriching.

Food from a life less soil is laden with chemicals in name of artificial fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Prolonged use of food items with chemical residues in it tend to result in increased risk of illnesses like cancer, immune and nervous disorder, birth deformities etc.

Alternatively, to enrich soil what is been used traditionally by our grand grand parents is decomposed desi (Indian native breed) cow or buffalo or goat dung manure which is a natural mixture of its urine, dung and plant wastes. Natural farming is done better with desi cattle breeds. Simultaneously, milk from desi cows are equivalent to mother’s milk.

Due to the overall sparse presence of natural farming and desi cows, there is no exclusive collection and processing line for desi cow milk procurement from farmers as of now and the desi cow milk is being taken by milk man at the same price as like hybrid cow’s milk. Shree Gavyam helps the natural farmers by regular buy back of desi cow milk at a far better price than hybrid cow milk from them. Apart from our own natural farm, we procure desi cow milk only from natural farms which allow their desi cows to graze in their natural farming lands.

Shree Gavyam is formed to bring forth the wonderful desi cow milk and its products ghee and milk powder in a traditionally and responsibly processed way retaining as much nutrients to consumers. Milk being a daily consumable part in our diet, daily intake of nutritionally nil or nutrition deficient milk may result in malnutrition and hidden hunger. Especially for growing children, wholesome, nutrient rich milk is essential for daily intake. Shree Gavyam’s milk powder assures a nutrient rich desi cow milk for daily use in places where grass grazed, fresh, whole, raw and hygenic desi cow milk supply is unavailable.

Strictly we don’t procure milk from desi cows which are completely stall fed and are not allowed for grazing.  Grazing in natural farm lands tend to increase the medicinal value and nutrition content of milk as the cows happily feed on different herbs and grasses. Moreover, milk from a stall fed cow tend to have more chemical residues in it as most of the cow feed used is commercially grown with fertilizers and pesticide usage.
