Traditional process does not deplete the delicate vitamins and minerals present in desi cow milk when it is converted to curd, ghee and milk powder. Regular intake of nutritious daily essentials like curd, ghee and milk powder after reconstitution to milk helps to reduce nutritional deficiencies in children and adults.
Soil Health
Reduces Chemical usage on soil
Desi cows are maintained for natural farming agricultural natural inputs like jeevamirtham, panchagavyam, ganajeevamirtham etc.
Reduces herbicide usage
We procure milk only from desi cows of natural farming lands which are allowed to graze. As grazing becomes essential, usage of herbicides in farm lands to control gets reduced. Grazing gives a chance for desi cows to feed on variety of herbs and plants which adds to the nutrient content and medicinal value of milk.
Reduces artificial fertilizer usage
Natural farming inputs made using desi cow dung and urine reduces the usage of fertilizers on soil. Improved soil health gives nutritious agricultural produces which in turn has a positive impact on human health. So far nearly 198 acres of land is been shifted to natural faming following Shree Gavyam farm.
Doubling of Farmer’s income
Having desi cows and following natural farming reduces the expense on fertilizer, herbicide and fungicides for farmers. Better soil health gives good yield at reduced costs. Meanwhile sale of desi cow milk at good price of Rs 70 per litres is a good and steady income to natural farmers.
Nil expense on fertilizers, herbicides and fungicides + steady income by desi cow milk sale = improved income to farmers.
